Thrifty Car Rental Bulgaria customers can now rent a Garmin GPS Satellite Navigation system from €5.99 per day. Units can be pre-booked at the online booking process or you can just ask a member of staff when you are picking up the car.

The Garmin GPS Satellite Navigation uses the latest mapping technology for Bulgaria, so you are sure to reach your destination. The colour screen can be used in traditional 2-D mode or 3-D mode for a bird's eye view of the map. The system uses the latest Global Positioning Satellite technology to effortlessly direct you to your chosen destination. Every turn will appear on the screen and you will also be given voice directions, well in advance of the turn. Should you miss a turn, the system will automatically re-route you - handy if driving in a busy city like Sofia or Varna.
User Friendly
The Garmin is very user-friendly and intuitive, and uses touch-screen technology. An estimated arrival time is also given (and is usually very accurate). You can change the language settings ofthe GPS should you wish. You can charge the GPS unit using the lighter socket in your rental car.
